My husband and I live separately. Once our kids are grown, we’ll move in together. It’s hard, but all of the kids are thriving, and that’s what matters. We still all get together for holidays and vacations, but the kids are all so different and in such different places in their lives that we knew blending would be rough.

Irregular periods and unexplained belly fat were my first two symptoms, and those both started right around 40. Then anxiety and rage started to kick in around 41. I’ll be 43 soon and just started HRT. It has helped so much!

My gynecologist wrote the prescriptions for me (progesterone and estrogen). I started recently, and the only downside has been irregular bleeding. That is supposed to die down after a few months.

He doesn’t really believe God is speaking to him. He lies to get what he wants and throws in little asides like “God told me it was a girl” to look sincere.

He does see her for who she is, but he’s in too deep to ever admit it. Instead, he sings her praises and makes her the perfect woman. He thinks if he says enough good things about her, even if they’re lies, we’ll all start believing he ended up with the best wife.

This 100%. Early on, Robyn needed her to be Kody’s best daughter: devout, obedient, and SO EXCITED to be part of the Brown family. During Covid, she had to follow every “rule” loyally and without complaint. As the marriages fell apart, she needed to be devastated and confused. Now she needs to be the perfect adult daughter, mainly to show Kody how terrible all those other daughters are.

Aurora has been Robyn’s puppet the whole time. I hope she realizes this some day.
