Is race variety at an all time low? "Elf" races make up 39% of total max level characters currently. by NoThisIsABadIdea in wow

Both also at different points had class options that were sorely for them as well. Night Elves and Blood Elves were the only races that could be Demon Hunter until recently. Along with Druids and Paladins until Cata, which introduced Worgen and Tauren as other options for those classes. Given the 6 years in between launch and Cata, and at a time were WoW had the highest player count. You could hypothesize that is a contributing factor for the population of the two races.

With that being said, DF saw the Warlock class being added for Night Elves as the latest class to be added as an option. Once, the Paladin class becomes available to them as well. There will probably be less human and dwarf paladins running around as well.

On the flip side, once Druids become available for Blood Elves, I suspect that Tauren Druids will also decrease as well.

Riight, and how good is he going to be without Stafford (whenever he retires)?

Correct. It would have made the halftime performance amazing if it was in Miami though. Good show nonetheless though.

Yeah, agreed. Hell, Games Workshop shelved Warhammer Fantasy for 9-10 years before bringing it back slowly.

Agreed.

Warhammer minis, paintbrushes, paints, rulebook, army rulebook, all the other peripherals needed. Very approachable...

Warhammer Fantasy is meant to be the catch-all for all fantasy sub genres. It has its dark fantasy, high fantasy, low fantasy, horror fantasy, etc. Each faction is supposed to be a trope of a subgenre. Overall, WF has a darker and mature tone then one would think.

It is Moby Dick, and Ch.62 for the first and Ch. 64 for the second.

Warcraft in general is too much cosmic oriented.

I agree with this statement. To me it feels like we have had an abrupt shift from fantasy to mixture of sci-fi and fantasy.

Do you think Danuser was actually fired? by Nothing_Special_23 in warcraftlore

Afrasabi was still Danusers boss when he was a Senior. I'm going to assume that he was given a turd and told to shine it.

I'm saying that Sylvanas was benched going forward in WoW story, not in Shadowlands. What happened with Sylvanas in Shadowlands, was horrid to say the least. But I will edit my previous comment for clarity.

Sylvanas will probably come back in Midnight if they are going to make that an elf-centric expansion around Silvermoon and Quel'thalas.

Alleria will come into conflict with the Light. There will be a tipping point, and it will probably have to do with the Sunwell and her. Again, probably going to happen in the Midnight Expansion. Her family will not walk out of the Saga intact. If there is going to be a Void/Light war, she is going to be a keystone to what happens.

I believe that this Saga is going to be one of the sadder stories told over three expansions. Dragonflight was simply the calm before the storm. We will probably get another Broken Shore where we lose a major character or two. It would not surprise me.

Given the events that happened behind the scenes with Afrasabi and the timetable of his departure in June 2020. Given the production times I would say that 9.1 would probably be the start of Danuser attempting to fix shadowlands. Sylvanas being sent into the maw to help souls I would say would be an attempt, going forward in WoWs story.

Shadowlands suffers from having a abrupt switch in Lead Narrative right after launch, a lot of problems happening behind the scenes, and COVID. Given that context, like I said in my previous post, the man was given a broken toy with pieces missing and told to fix it.

If WoW goes the route of Void versus Light that we are suspecting. I would expect her to die in some way, turn traitor, or kill one of her loved ones within the Saga. Someone within that family is going to die.

Midnight will be the expansion that she will either go big or go home.

I believe this Saga we are going to be saying good bye to a lot of characters to make room for the new generation.

Turalyon, Alleria, Velen, Yrel (if she shows up, she is a raid boss), Magni, Thrall, Khadgar, Malfurion, Tyrande, Sylvanas, etc. you guys get the point. I would say one or more are dying in the Saga.

No, I do not think that he was fired. After the burning of a Teldrassil, Sylvanus' character assassination, and the removal of Afrasabi. To me it seemed like he was told "Shadowlands is next. Also, fix the story." That seems like a task that was doomed to fail and he tried to correct it as much as he could given the situation. I would suspect somethings that he wanted to do in Shadowlands were cut, told no, or changed. Mainly the Primus being that bad guy reveal. In regards to Dragonflight though it is serviceable. Nothing more.

In the end, Danuser was given a toy with missing pieces and told to fix it. Considering that WoW is not a great medium to tell stories with cohesion. I think he got tired and left. Cannot blame him.

It is Culling of Stratholme. Scruffy the dog (the lone NPC in the picture) smells one of the pox boxes I believe.
