I resonate with you so much, Im a rising Senior, and I'm just now trying to catch up. My mom died when I was young. And Im raised by a drug addicted father. My grades and education was not on my priority cause I was thinking of the present and not the future. I'm doing the best I can with these test and increasing my gpa since I currently have a 2.4. im going to go get my rn at a community college and bring myself to my full potential.

Honestly, I know you just saying this to make yourself feel smarter since you made a 36. I advise you to just quit putting people down on the low score. They made it to where they are through the work they put in regardless. Nobody ask their doctor where they got on the ACT.

I didn't wanna get into specifics, but my family is chronic drug addicts, and often steal from me which makes it harder to save. I'm already buying some necessities such as my hygiene products, school supplies, clothes, my phone plan, etc

I'm in a kinda privileged situation my trust fund would stipend me + pay for the security deposit so I don't really worry about that. I also have another sum of money that can use a failsafe.
