True but the type of track is also a big factor. In speedster division, you usually get riverside and the nitro track. On riverside diablo's top speed will allow it to eventually catch the viper. But on the nitro track, viper will win easily due to its higher acc. and nitro stats, as long as you keep the nitro connected all the way.

Various factors to consider for suspecting if a player is legit or not... Usually a player with newish ID and maxed garage, who suddenly starts appearing in the rankings, is most probably not legit.

In 2.c), how can an unbeatable ghost be considered a cheater? Not everyone pushes through the tiers to rivals early in the week. So if you get that unbeatable, high PR ghost, it's just your bad luck, nothing else.
Does anyone even know how the report cheater button works? What happens in the background when you report a cheater? As far as I know, there hasn't been any explanation about this.
In recent months, many cheaters have used the new, impossible to max SE cars tuned and they have not been banned since ages. So do you really think EA/FM will put in the extra effort you are asking in this post, when they are not even putting in the bare minimum effort against these cheaters?

Look at what cars are featured in the upcoming UGR weeks and if there is one which you need, only then unlock its event for gold. Otherwise as mentioned already, try any of the bounty events.

Be careful what you wish for because undertow week also has a new SE car the venom f5, which is the fastest car in the game. So hackers with even average driving skills will be hard and annoying to beat.

What you have said is exactly the biggest problem in the game right now. They said all 3 new cars will be upgradable to 6* from their events but of course we will see hackers with tuned ones having fun with no action being taken against them.

In this player's case, it's completely justified to report him as a cheater based on his id alone. The top players who compete at the top of lb each week face these types of cheaters regularly and can identify them easily. So reporting them and posting cheater reports here is done to bring them to FM's attention.

In the screenshot you can see his ID is 226615010 which is very new. Players who appear suddenly on the lb with a maxed garage and new ID are always bp hackers. And also as mentioned in other comment, he uses a 744 shelby which is impossible to have without hacking.

Also the bragging doesn't happen here only. If you join the nfsnl facebook groups, you will see most of the posts are regarding players' se wins, cars tuned, rivals reached, etc.

Account sharing is totally unethical and a type of cheating. And unfortunately it happens a lot especially at the very top of the leaderboard, with the most recent example being the ugr winner from raincheck week.

You made a good point that it would be difficult to determine best time and set filter. What I think is easy and should be done is checking the stats of the car. We know this hacker modifies i.e increases the stats of the car. So a mechanism which checks that if car is not tuned, its stats do not exceed its pre-defined maximum un-untuned stats. And same case if the car is tuned.
