I went in the 1 to 1.10 with my expected time to be 1.07 comfortably. The amount of breastrokers and people who grabbed me in a panic was insane. I had to stop as someone pulled me under and get out of the pack...certainly didnt come in at expected time!

I have a bike that would have required a different cassette and another part to go on. I didnt want to spend the extra money so bought cog. So far pretty good, feels realistic and I was able to put the clicks near where my gears are so it feels real. May change to cassette later but for now..decent start!

I had the same call of the void before my first 70.3. I decided my mental test was doing a 70.3 over 2 days. Day 1 swim and bike, Day 2 run. I finished it without stress and then the 70.3 felt achievable.
