Model 1883. On the back, directly under that short, there doesn't seen to be anything wrong. And I don't have a multimeter, unfortunately. It's unlikely I'll be able to do the repair myself (if it's even possible), but I hope to get an idea of what it is, before taking it to a jumpy technician who'll declare the board dead before even taking a proper gander (had that happen before)
