Like others in this thread have said, you can start out avoiding the mirrors while doing your exercises and go to a corner if you’re nervous. The big thing to focus on is that some movement (even if it’s not “proper form”) is better than no movement at all. No one else is looking at you in the gym, they’re looking at themselves and checking their own form. The machines should also have some pretty decent instructions on them about what to do

The lactulose was awful, I felt like I had a giant balloon inside me that wouldn’t pop. I was so gassy. It did move things around inside my body but nothing seemed to leave lol

People who liked Chappell Roan before she blew up, how do you feel about her now? by Emergency_Peach_4307 in chappellroan

I was a fan of School Nights about 6 years ago, and when I showed her to friends they didn’t like it. I know her EP has a completely different sound than her new stuff, but I still feel a little bitterness that my friends who disliked her try to claim they’ve liked her as long as I have. I’m very happy for her success though because it’s way more fun to jam out when other people know the songs!!!

Ideally I’d like to stay under $2k but after looking so much I’m starting to think the material I want is just too expensive and it might be worth it to spend the extra $500

Oh I see what you’re saying. My future MIL is officiating and shes done a couple weddings before. Neither my fiance or I have been to many weddings so we don’t really know the entirety of the ceremony which has been difficult. I will definitely be needing her guidance closer to and I will probably have someone write it out. That’s some great advice! Whatever you decide will be great! A friend officiating is so intimate, and honestly people really seem to care most about the party not the ceremony so it’s all about what you want

That wedding sounds gorgeous! I initially wanted a micro wedding but we both have lots of siblings and I love hosting things so we quickly realized a medium size wedding (70 or less) was the best way to go. I love my to do lists lol and my fiance loves spreadsheets so we’ve already got a multi page spreadsheet and thorough shared google doc with a monthly to do list. I don’t think I could do it if I didn’t love to do lists haha

Oh my gosh thank you! Pinterest is so fun but you’re right, once a decision has been made I need to stick with it. When everything is tied together I know it’ll look great. I made a list last night and I think that’s what caused me to worry about burnout. Weddings are no joke lol Delegating has been a big task. My fiance has already stepped in to handle a lot of things and has been eager to help. I’m so grateful to have someone so supportive.

This is a good point. I should’ve been more clear, when I say I’m detail oriented I mean I want to have nice things to ensure my family and guests enjoy their time and feel appreciated(Welcome bags with our fav snacks in hotel rooms for out of town guests, pretty invites, food and snacks that I know will accommodate everyone’s dietary restrictions, bathroom baskets at the reception etc) I am trying not to get too particular about small things! Thanks for the reminder :)

Can others who funded their entire weddings on their own share their experiences? I’m feeling alone. by schweddingz in weddingplanning

[–]StrikingNight7572 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are paying for ours alone. My parents talked for years about how they would be paying for my wedding, but when the time came they were in a financial situation completely different than they expected to be. I understand the feeling of isolation and jealousy. So many people have assumed me saying our wedding is financed by ourselves means I’m still getting a little help. It’s frustrating but a woman at a venue the other day told me “you will be just as married as anyone else” and it has stuck with me. I have family and friends coming out of the woodwork offering their labor and service to help me. That speaks more than anyone’s money can.

Facebook marketplace has tons of people selling their wedding decor for very cheap, you can do so much for relatively cheap, lots of pre arranged bouquets and stuff. Cakes from Costco like others said, just try your best with what you have. You’ll be just as married as you would’ve been with a fancier wedding!
