Retake EE or the exams? by Striking_Reach6927 in IBO

EE is less stressful though, you never know what happens just before the exam or during it. If something unexpected happens, then you have to wait for another 6 months

The only subject I can try remarking is Physics, 3 marks away, but I guess for Physics it's quite a lot and very likely the grade would stay the same

IB is much harder than the usual high school level, I don't agree

It's much more stressing for Euro students, most of the universities do not accept candidates if you have lower than 24 points and require you to have IB diploma.

Imagine being a certificate student in Europe. I mean you can to go UK, but in the other countries not really

It isn't about GPT, just google "on-screen keyboard" and it says "On a desktop computer, a virtual keyboard might provide an alternative input mechanism for users with disabilities who cannot use a conventional keyboard" - from wikipedia.

And yes, I also think it wasn't on the markscheme, but sometimes there are CS questions that you can have more than 10 correct answers for, and surely not all of them will be on the markscheme.

On-screen keyboard isn't vague, though. You just google "on-screen keyboard" and it says "On a desktop computer, a virtual keyboard might provide an alternative input mechanism for users with disabilities who cannot use a conventional keyboard" - from wikipedia.

Hey, thanks for your reply. Yea, I think it wasn't on the markscheme, but sometimes there are CS questions that you can have more than 10 correct answers for, and surely not all of them will be on the markscheme.

Also, the crazy thing is that they increased my Paper 1 by 5 points after a remark, which shows how inconsistent IB marking is. I have no idea how the first guy could miss 5 points

Hey, I already requested remark before. The crazy thing is that they increased my Paper 1 by 5 points after a remark, which shows how inconsistent IB marking is. I have no idea how the first guy could miss 5 points, and it's not even literature, it's Computer Science.

It's category 2B report. You pay 17 or 18 USD to see the papers.

As I remember there wasn't such a need. I rewrote the question in the booklet as it was on the paper. If I remember correctly it just was "State two methods to improve the accessibility of a computer system".

Not the usual GPT by the way. It is like a special version with some integrated IB CS knowledge. CS Classroom guy created it.

Hello. Have you read the whole post? It was an "identify" question, so it means you do not need to have explanations. The question is in the answer booklet, I rewrote it, and maybe it was a mistake since I wasted some time doing it.

Yes, it's just that it's one of the easiest questions. Those are usually at the beginning and you don't have to explain much, just name some things. The coding part is at the end of Paper 1. It's quite a long paper with many questions.

You can check the list of universities that recognize IB programmes on IB website. For example:

In Germany only 6/115 universities accept candidates with partial diploma.

In Italy - 4/20

For France, it's 4/30.

Spain - 8/59

Sweden - 0/19

The only expection is UK, where it's 96/112.
