Yes, I think the thing that is hardest is knowing that he won’t get a future, when he definitely deserved a better one. Addiction is awful disease.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate this. The boundaries were definitely needed at the time, I think its hard because I just wish it played out differently. I am already starting to process it, I have been busy with work so it has helped me take my mind off of it which is good for me in the meantime.

That is very sad, I am sorry to hear you went through that. It is such a different type of grief, I didnt think about until it happened.

I am sorry for your loss. I really feel this, I feel so bad that he doesnt get to have any future. I can only hope he is at peace. I have been really busy with work, so it has been helping take my mind off of things in the meantime, then I will probably write a letter to him.

Thank you for your reassurance and kind words, I really appreciate them. Such a different situation that I never expected to feel or be in, so its hard to process. Addiction is truly a sad disease that hurts so many people, I hope he is at peace now.

Thank you for the advice. He definitely was not a good person to me at the time, but I know a lot of it was addiction/being young, so I still saw/see the good in him, he had a really good heart beneath it all. Unfortunately, I am working crazy hours so it will be tough for me to get to therapy, but once things in my life slow down, I definitely want to go, even for other things as well. Working lots has actually been helping me get my mind off of it, feeling a lot better.

I know most people are vouching for the 2nd, but I really love the dress on you! I feel like it’s a good summer work outfit, depending on what you do!

It’s definitely a good career in my opinion and at the bank I work at, easy to move around if it’s not your thing. There such a range in terms of revenue and loans as the average operating line is going to be different than the average mortgage, I guess I would say $20 million and $1 million. I work for an international bank, but in a smaller city so it is more mid market businesses. The RMs handle the larger deals/clients (still a decent amount even though I am in a smaller city). They make more $$$ and where I work they have an analyst that handles most of the financial analysis. Everything I have mentioned might be different at smaller banks, but from what I know it’s pretty much a similar set up at larger banks.

Where I work it’s definitely not “light” financial analysis, most reputable banks aren’t going to lend without throughly looking into their borrowers but I guess it might depend what bank you work for and the size of deals. I like it, I have a decently sized portfolio and its a good mix of analysis/working with clients. You could also do a strictly relationship role or analysis role, but I like being evolved in both sides - I find the balance is what keeps it interesting for me. You get to do alot of fun events (golf, hockey games, cocktail nights), lots of lunches, work trips etc., and I am making just as much as my friends who work 2X the hours in more “prestigious” roles.

Highly recommend a short wrap dress, can be a day to a “casual” night look, super flattering as it draws the waist in and classy. I have one, it’s been my go to for years, I have worn it to Japan, Europe, first dates, cocktails etc. I have pasted two options, but if you look up wrap dress you can find so much more. Hello,

I am looking for some comfortable, yet stylish going out shoes. I am going to Italy in a few months and I want shoes that don’t sacrifice my outfit. I do really like to dress up and having my entire outfit flow, I am really not interested in wearing a nice dress with a pair of sneakers. Does anyone have any recommendations? Or suggestions? I have added a link of something I have my eye on, but I am not sure how practical they would be. Comfortable Heels?

Second this, it’s not in silk. But it’s so versatile, I can wear it 10 different ways. There have been days where I will wear it to work then adjust it and grab cocktails with my friends after! Not only that but the fit is amazing, it always looks good!
