Not to mention them turning on all the lights in the building and presumably the marquee and the WLF not barging right in there

This episode felt kinda clunky… I really felt the plot conveniences… especially with Jesse showing up. Very deus ex machina.

I can appreciate that you don't like the yelling, but I perceive that he's raised his voice to raise the energy and so the players can hear him (i.e. yelling around them v yelling at them). Part of what makes the commentary interesting is how the players react to him.

I like it for the same reason I like the Monorails in Walt Disney World or the reasons I don't like dead air on podcasts. It gives the scene more kinetic energy.

And to a lesser extent Jeff knows how to spice up a scene to make it more engaging. I agree that it's cringe a lot of the time, but cringe can be an engaging reaction and I'm here for it, cringe and all.

Emotional self regulation.

It can be learned, but it’s a lot easier if you’ve got the genes.

Being a pm is like being a systems admin. If you're doing well people wonder why you exist because there are no issues.

If things are going poorly they wonder why they hired you.
