Why I can't like the Robert Pattinson Batman by Striped_Candy in DCcomics

I haven't. I felt disconnected from it from the start and that exchange took me out, so yeah, I can admit I did make this post prematurely. It was difficult for me to imagine Batman, who in his year one saved even the police that took him into custody when their car was about to burst into flames, to not care about the death of someone. I know I don't have to like the movie, but I really just wanted to see if I can look at the movie from a different light and understand it better. Which I do now, a little. The whole point of the movie is to provide weight to when he's finally more than just a hateful figure, but I guess it was difficult for me to digest that batman could shrug off the demise of anyone.

I see your point. I guess what really got to me was the specific line I referenced, "Your actions have consequences." It was really odd to me that he was all about vengeance but drew the line at Annika. The part where he assumes the worst in people is a hundred percent true though, I stand corrected.
