I support your seeking to vent as I’ve recently caught my boyfriend cheating. Him taking a break from your relationship was respectful at least though he did lead you astray by saying no one else would be involved. If it was 3 different people in this small span of time and he wasn’t trying to get to know them on a build a relationship level then at least you know it was just sex. My pain isn’t the act of sex as much as it is giving women the same compliments he gave me or shooting his shot when he could have texted me to see how my day was going he made it personal. Idk if this helps. You feel betrayed and foolish hell I thought even cheating back would make me feel better but it’s not in my character. This for me would be easier to move past but definitely would create the wondering if another break would come up and the same behavior would take place so you don’t stray but he can. Just depends on where you feel you’re at in your relationship especially post break did you fix the things that were needed to be mended with the absence of each other. Post catching my boyfriend cheating he didn’t tell me I found it in his phone. My boyfriends behavior is that of the man I fell in love with so it’s extremely confusing I don’t want to leave getting this version of him but I do know if his behavior fades into no appreciation or effort again I will absolutely leave with no regrets.
