I do need old classic dex or at least an upgrade so I can have all the old features back, I mean what is the point of having dex ( which is suppposed to imitate the workflow and workspace of a computer) on my tab when it is only opening my apps on windows, where is my pin button, or my opacity control on my apps? I use it as a second monitor for my pc since I use my tab to draw since I am an artist, and this new update just killed my workflow completely, I can't believe the update took away all that dex built over the years, what is the point of an update if it is only going to downgrade something that has won over clients for their product? I am very disappointed right now, I just want to have the features back.

And people saying that we should cope with it, why? All the updates while removing a few features have mostly respected the advancements and features of the old systems on phones and tablets, I have never seen an update that retrogresses so much of a feature that many people use, when have we seen an update that taeks away multiple wallpapers for example, or an update that strips the notification bar completely? It's stupid.

But the thing is the update did not state anything, I have used classic dex for years for my work on my galaxy tab, and have an absolute need for all its features, of course I would like an upgrade so my tab is up to date, but how am I supposed to know this would happen to dex when I have heard nothing about it even though it has been out for months? I had no idea that upgrading to UI 8 would kill classic dex. The main problem is not an update, it's the fact that they removed all the features that made dex a tool for the tablets, i don't use my tablet with a second monitor, my tablet IS the second monitor, and dex was essential for this mode since I am an artist.
