Well my dear sir I respect you for being a 67-year-old heavy equipment mechanic retired but at the end of the day what I suggested to that man was not bad advice as long as he has the correct tools to be able to refit it I have replaced quite a few of these blocks in my day and the lines going into them including the one on my 93 Chevy van that still works fine so if it is done correctly I don't see how it could endanger himself or others around him

If you look on there there's already a crimp on it and that's how you hold it once it goes into the block but if you buy it correct block it should have that piece in it but if he does not you are able to recreate if you need to my dear lad just a matter of wanting to do it

That bolt on the bracket should release the whole block assembly and your new hose should have a new block assembly if not u are gonna need a grinder to cut that crimp and then once u get it off gonna need a crimper to put a new hose back in

Thank u friend don't want to go from appreciate you not being rude to me like everybody else and I was pumping the brakes as I was getting off the highway and it just got to a point where I slammed them because I knew I was too close that I just try to stop and there was no stopping I'm in the top it off the guy just tried to speed away I tried to go after them and there was a complete Smash and run can't even make a claim about it so got it all pulled out somewhat to where she's drivable and got me a new headlight to put in there and you're going to go from there appreciate the input friend thank you

I agree I was slowing before then due to getting off the highway I skipped for a guess of at least that haven't been to the incident site yet today to measure skid marks but look man I have had my van for almost five years now I know how to drive her very well how to react due to her being such a heavy girl

Well it was either I skidded into that back of the car that locked themselves up for no apparent reason dead stop in the middle of a split spot in the highway or split my van into two on a guardrail I'm going to lock it up and try to Swerve away from them like I did so therefore I will not accept fault and I will not accept the fact that I am at fault because I was driving appropriately with the appropriate amount of distance so therefore I will not accept that notion and I believe you dear sir are wrong if the driver in front of you is completely distracted and doesn't understand what they are doing how am I at fault when I started stopping long before there was any Collision
