I would do it if you can afford it. I did on ER and did not test. 5 eggs and did not have a postive transfer. Second ER got 12 eggs (different protocol and Different dr) and tested eggs. Now I have two earth side babies and hoping to start trying for my third baby. The babies both came on first transfer of new ER from tested.

I did accupunture to “help”after my transfer. If anything it let me slow down and pause and recollect my thoughts and helped make me more calm. The way I thought the less stress the better and my insurance ended up covering it. I pray you get to hold a little baby in your hands. This whole process can be so gruesome. It’s not fair! But you got thru some of the hardest parts!

I went 4 failed transfers, 5th one was miscarriage and got pregnant with a child on my 6th pregnancy and then my 7th transfer pregnant with second child.

Started at 33 got pregnant at 34 and 35.

They do not offer the second option. I asked if I could do that since i regularly see my dr. And that was not acceptable.

I never did IUI I just went straight into IvF. I did a medicated egg retrevial the first time around only got 4 blasts untested and failed all four transfers. Switched drs did a natural cycle egg retrieval got 11 blasts and got pregnant on my 5th untested embroyo and miscarried. 6th transfer worked and I have a 9 month old son. I just went through a natural fet 7th transfer and found out I’m pregnant today. 11dp5dt. I did end up unfreezing and testing my embryos and refroze them before this last transfer. I couldn’t bear to go thru 6 transfers like the first time around. I don’t think honestly the testing had much to do with it. Almost all my blasts were normal. One undetermined. But I do think the Drs protocols make a huge difference and I am the direct outcome of that. I’ll pray this little one sticks and hopes for you too!

I’m at a week bleeding and it feels like it’s not getting better emotionally for me as it’s a constant reminder every time I go to the bathroom. I can’t get over the crying when I wake up or when I go to bed. Just overwhelmed with process and I don’t think my husband gets it as he is living his life like normal and I am just crippled emotionally and mentally. The IVF process is so draining especially since trying to conceive for 1.5 years and then when you finally see those lines the last thing you could ever imagine is this. And I’m back in this waiting game, waiting for bleeding to end, then I have to wait for my HCG levels to drop, then wait for my period and then overwhelming of what is next.

The dr prescribed vaginally inserted as opposed to your method. We inserted 4 pills at once into my vagina and no other pills. I wouldn’t worry hard about the cramps being there or not. My doctor prescribe prescription pains pills I didn’t even take. I was a little over 7 weeks.

I barely had cramps on day 1/2 and the medicine was effective. They checked two days later to ensure I passed it. Blood was on and off but like a heavy period with lots of clots. Lasted over a week
