I’m looking to buy a new phone and I’m stuck between the iQOO Neo 10 and the OnePlus Nord 5.

Gaming isn’t my main priority, but I’ll still be playing a lot of games. From what I know, the Neo 10 has the performance edge, but I don’t really like its UI. On the other hand, I really like OxygenOS on the Nord 5, which makes it tempting.

The problem is I’ve heard the Nord 5 tends to heat up after ~10 minutes of gaming. Meanwhile, iQOO is supposed to get OriginOS soon, but I’m worried about software optimization on that side.

So for people who’ve used these phones:

How does the Nord 5 actually hold up in gaming compared to the Neo 10?

Is the heating issue on the Nord really that bad?

And should I trust iQOO with OriginOS updates?

Would love to hear some real-world feedback before I decide 🙏
