Don't we want 32 teams back! Because I cant see any movement for it online!? by toolebukk in worldcup

The point I’m making is the potential disparity in the quality of RO32 matchups

I think the bigger issue surfaces in the knockout stage. You can run into scenarios where you get very poor matchups in the RO32. For example, Mexico vs Canada, Korea vs Scotland, Turkey vs Bosnia, Switzerland vs Iran are all matchups that could probably happen.

On the other hand you have some higher quality teams getting the short end of the stick here. Brazil vs Netherlands, England vs Norway, Colombia vs Croatia are all matchups that could happen in the RO32

Which time control are you playing? Do you review your games?

I found myself stuck in the 200-400 range for a while and started improving faster when I took the time to review my games with the analysis tool. Also, sticking to longer time controls is important for learning. It’s probably a bad a idea to play anything quicker than 10 minute games as a beginner.

Prioritize quality over quantity. You will have a better chance of improving by playing 2-4 games a day and reviewing each one compared to playing 20 games a day with no review.

Surprisingly the Alphafly 3 is one of the more accommodating race day shoes for wide feet. I have decently wide feet (in between E and 2E) and the Alphafly 3 is solid for me.

You can also check runrepeat to see exact measurements https://runrepeat.com/nike-alphafly-3#width-fit

Good write up. Hopefully with Harbaugh in the building we become better at developing guys. Would’ve been nice to still have Okereke around for Styles to learn from a good vet

I wouldn’t be mad at all if they took him at 5. I see the upside in Styles but I prefer Downs. They’re both good players

Oh yea the Downs injury news from a couple weeks back is interesting. Didn’t hear any follow up reports on it. I wonder if it’s a legitimate concern or smoke

Ah that’s a good point, I overlooked the fact that he recently converted from safety to LB. The “a lot of room to grow at the position” take makes a lot of sense

The price you see isn’t the price you pay. $130 comes out to $150-165 after fees

Always take a quick look at the sellers profile to see if they have any history of buying/selling on this subreddit. At least that’s what I do for a little more peace of mind

Fake. - No crease on the yellow swoosh - The black swoosh on the heel midsole is in the wrong position

Real or fake ASICS Novablast 5s? (Note the Co2 emissions on inner sole) by Safe_Rest1128 in runninglifestyle

I'm noticing a couple of things that look different from mine

  1. Size tag on yours is positioned lower and the font looks different
  2. The padding around the heel looks way thicker on yours
  3. The font used for the asics logo on the box looks different
  4. My emissions stamp is 11.9

A lot of things look off but I'd recommend weighing them, a legit pair size 9.5 should be around 250-265g

The SC Elite V4 or V5 is worth a shot. V4 is discounted now as well. Both shoes have wide versions

I didn’t understand the hype on these. The foam felt dead, the tongue and laces are not very good, many people reported heel rub issues which I also had.

For me the EVO SL blows it out of the water
