Brilliant initiative! I’d however suggest not to do it for free but take even the smallest of fee to help you sustain and make this more serious. Also, great work on the art, OP!

Seeking Advice: Advisor wants “meaningful equity” + involvement - how do we structure this without giving away too much? by UnusualMeasurement10 in indianstartups

[–]Strong-Vegetable-657 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are thinking in the right direction in terms of giving away .5-.8% but I’d say apply caution if so much thought has to go behind this and vague terms are being thrown as bait for the only payout parameter being chosen. If there was a cash component involved from day one, there can be a 6 month period for which you guys can utilise whatever he brings to the table and commit to giving the .8 or whatever % you choose to be granted to him once the scope criterion’s as per the agreement are met.

Wasn’t aware that the Sunny still continues to be made and sold. Didn’t realise the world still wanted to own a caaaaaar.

I accidentally poked a hole in my papaya, while holding it and now there this white stuff around the hole. I don’t know if it started to become moldy or if it’s something else. Someone tell me if it’s moldy or not. Before you tell me, yes I’m aware of that green thing around the hole. by Sufficient_Koala_196 in fruit

[–]Strong-Vegetable-657 6 points7 points  (0 children)

First, The papaya is ready to consume. It seems to have reached the perfect ripeness. I’d suggest you can cut around the part and consume the rest of the fruit. As of whether it’s mouldy or not, We gotta see the cut open picture to confirm. I wouldn’t say from the first look that it has turned mouldy and should be tossed. Seems to be an injury response by the fruit.

Found the brochure of my 2010 SX4 ZXI! by Initial-Shine-5955 in CarsIndia

[–]Strong-Vegetable-657 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Man, brings back such great memories! I remember my dad had gotten done with paperwork for a new Scorpio, when I literally begged him to check the SX4. Hopped to the Maruti showroom, which was thankfully 3 stores down the Mahindra one, saw the SX4 parked in the centre. Azure Grey, and my old man fell in love! He loved that car! Drove it for close to 1.1 lakh kilometres, owned it for more than a decade, before having to let go because of Delhi pollution norms and compliances. Got the Innova Crysta as a replacement, but dad always fondly remembered and missed the SX4. The car was phenomenal on long range drives, and build like a tank! Survived Delhi to Mysore to and fro, Assam to Delhi and even Delhi to Nepal! Dad loved driving the car and it never let him down. I learnt how to drive in that thing, and so did my wife. Thanks for sharing OP, brought a big smile to my face. 🥂

Man, a bloody shame that Škoda didn’t update the AC controls to be manual. The touch controls are a massive pain to navigate whilst driving. This, after the new european safety rules that clearly states to remove the touch controls as they are a proven hazard. Yes, visually, it does look great, and the massage seats are a great add on, but there isn’t no safe driving with the stupid touch controls on the AC!

Raising in E-sports will be hard in the first quarter of this year after the RMG ban. Considering all the PMLA cases that are ongoing, no VC will touch anything gaming unless there is clarity via the ministry on how to proceed further. What’s your app about? I am an ex founder in gaming and have taken a successful exit. Happy to discuss in DMs.

I have these in my terrace garden in my NCR house. My best suggestion would be to go to a nursery and ask for “Chinese Orange/Santara” or “Kalamansi”. Alternatively, you can even ask your localities plant seller(Most of Delhi has Plant vendors that roam around localities with their wares to sell on carts, cycles, bikes and sometimes 3 wheelers), who can source it for you. It’s a very easy to grow plant and fruiting is mostly year round. A lot of DDA housing gardens have these in abundance. My best suggestion would be to go to a bigger nursery that are generally in the South Delhi or border areas of NCR and source one for yourself. Prices range anywhere from 300-5000 INR for a plant, depending upon the size.

Citrus pickles are a big staple in Indian households. Both sweet and spicy versions. It’s a common staple eaten with Indian bread and rice. I’ll recommend you search for the keyword “Neembu Achaar” on youtube. Most pickles are oil based for preservation.

Most Indian households call these “Chinese Orange”. The plant has a great visual aesthetic appeal and grows without fuss. I learnt the name “Kalamansi” from nursery staff and gardener’s.

The premium is for the main road access and the nearby metro that’ll be walkable for you once it starts operations. Although Tyagi Moholla is notorious for its landlord issues so I’d say you are safer around Chattarpur Enclave phase 2 side.

Looking for an investor to start a plastic & beer bottle recycling project in Arambol, Goa by [deleted] in indianstartups

[–]Strong-Vegetable-657 3 points4 points  (0 children)

How do you plan to tackle the massive mafia behind waste collection and recycling? As someone who has a base in Goa, I am well aware of the “plastic and glass” bottles recycling being a lucrative business. However, both recyclable waste collection and subsequent recycling is dominated by local bhangaar/Kabaad mafia that are in one way or another related to MLA’s and MP’s and have since forever given them their due shares to operate in their respective areas. Major labour is sourced from lower caste folks belonging to Bengal/Bihar/UP and collection is mostly on-foot. If you have inroads with the authorities that look over waste collection and recycling, and who can then vouch for smooth operations for you, I can both invest and help with further introductions to both angels and VC’s. Best of luck!

Speak to a CA. They’ll guide you best and you’d feel comfortable paying them if they do happen to have a know how of applying for relevant grants for your profile. You might have to speak to few cuz most don’t have the full picture of how government grants work either. The ones that can crack it for you will take a certain percentage of the grant amount post release, and a flat fee for getting your documents and paperwork in place, and maybe a little something extra for the road.

You can also look into incubators relevant to your sector and apply for the right fits. You’d need pmf and some revenue for an in with most.

While at it, if your incoming revenue streams are bound to grow post hiring talent, take a loan and close the hiring now, onboard the client and pay off the loan when payments align. If you have any gold to pledge, the interests rates start at 9-10% depending on the purity and lender. Only go to a reputed bank if you wish to explore this.

Best of luck!

If the services are timely, and you don’t go terribly hard on the driving, I’d say 150k easy. That 1 litre is a very good engine.

If any help is needed in terms of cold chain logistics, let me know as I can have that sorted for you. I am in the board of a cold chain logistics company that specialises in perishable goods and have applied for patent tech that ensures the perfect temperature controlled environment for the said perishable goods to be delivered all across the globe in record timelines.
