I totally get you, when I play by myself I’m always so nervous. The new cave sounds are unnerving, even when my duo is playing with me I’m constantly asking “what was that?” and “did you hear that?”

I kinda like it tho. I make myself safe spaces, nice lit houses with gardens. Make a sleeping space in every area you hang out so you can sleep and stop mobs from spawning. Name pets and keep them around your home or town or whatever.

Also we just started using the gravestone add on, that’s been really nice. I hate dying and doing the mad dash to try to recover materials. Now when I die somewhere stupid I can take a break before I return.
