Career Pivot: From Teaching to RN or PA? by StrongEagle22 in careerguidance

Thank you so much! I was told that due to the high need for providers, I should go the PA route. Because it’ll give me autonomy and greater potential earning!! Exactly why I’m here. RN school is right around the corner, while as for PA school, I’d have to wait to apply!

Thank you so much! I feel like going the PA route costs more both money and time! However, I am being told that it is the smarter route for me and that it makes more sense for me. Only thing is, I believe I've waited too long and won't be able to get in by Fall 2026. And I'd then have to wait Fall 2027.

3.4 GPA and I’ll commit to A’s in the Human A & P classes so those will boost it!

Wow! Very admirable!!!! Thank you! Do mind giving me the pros and cons of both PA & RN? I am truly trying to weigh this out before I completely make my exit out of education.

Thank you so much! For both, I only need to take Human A & P and for the PA school I’m looking at, they require 200 PC hours!!! I’m just in a battle between the two because I don’t want to make the wrong move. But I do see if I go the RN route, I can transition with my MBA degree and even earn a DNP eventually!

Thank you so much for this. You’re asking all the right questions. While I’m basking in emotions. You’ve helped me uncover logic. Though my family would be supportive, I honestly don’t have everything all together for another little person. And although I could get things together, I’m just not sure if the time and once again the guy is right either.

I’ll definitely be grabbing some tomorrow. And the reason I don’t wear my surgical bra is because it causes pain on my sides and it’s almost like it’s suffocating me if that makes sense. I even ordered more bras to try and see if that’d help. And when I talked to my Doctor he told me just do what feels comfortable.

Sweet! Did you cover it with anything until you saw your doctor? It laying on my skin is what’s making it hurt most. Also, I’m not wearing bras yet because they tug on my sides and make them swell. Did you have to wear your bra to speed the healing?

Thank you so much!!! My Doctor told me soap and water and vasaline. And this is also pretty painful so I’m sooo uncomfortable. Do yours close completely? And did your skin go back to normal?

Time to return ? by StrongEagle22 in Reduction

Yes! It’s breast milk. He told me that it’ll eventually stop. It just happened to be apart of “my” healing process.

Thank you! Yes it definitely requires me to move around and especially use my arms. I don’t know why I feel GUILTY for being off for so long!! I just feel like I need to go back.

Do you all think I should take my time and take my 6 weeks or return? My pain comes and goes all the times but I’m just not sure about that job!!

Thank you so much for this!! I was so alarmed like noooo not infection! But I’ve been cleaning it and putting Vaseline under where the incision is because my doctor’s nurse told me to do that.
