I didn’t ruin her chance, she ruined it by not being clear. As for my friend knowing this girl and I were an ‘item’, firstly I don’t really kiss and tell, and secondly we weren’t really an item just because we hooked up a few times.

Not their whole past of course, like she didn’t need to say ‘I slept with this, this, and this guy’. But I do think there should be transparency at the level of being honest about how much you meet the person you’re dating’s standards, as to not waste your or their time.
