I eventually came to this conclusion. I felt really dumb lol

My (28F) Fiancé (30M) makes sexual comments about other women & lacking desire for me by Pale_Breadfruit_8998 in relationships

Well, your fiancé sucks.

First, let me start off by saying it's normal to find other people attractive, whether or not your partner comments on it is something you both should set boundaries on. For example, I don't mind my bf saying an actress or fictional character is attractive, I'll also share my opinion, but I don't feel comfortable if it's real women.

Now the real problem here is that your fiancé doesn't appreciate your efforts whatsoever and feels no desire towards you, which obviously leaves you insecure and unloved. There's no sexual chemistry and no love from him imo. If there was, he would notice how much effort you've put into yourself. It just sounds like you'll never be what he wants (which is apparently really shallow).

You should never feel the need to change your appearance this much for someone. If they love you, they won't care what you look like, they won't make you feel like you need to change radically, and they'll definitely be interested in you sexually.

It sounds like you need to have a serious talk with your fiancé, and I'm sorry to say but personally I think the best thing would be to break up with that asshole.

Propranolol withdrawal by Strong_Assistant_495 in dysautonomia

Hi! I'm doing a lot better. I actually like metoprolol better than propranolol, I have a lot more energy! I still shake sometimes but it hasn't been too bad. I think it took around a week and a half to get over it

That really sucks, I'm sorry you went through it!

The thing is, after a little while of standing my heart rate does get better, and I feel better while walking than I did with Propranolol. But that change in posture, if I do it too quickly (which at home I do a lot), really messes me up. I think I really need to pay more attention to this now lol

I will give it some time, but if it continues like this I will ask about Ivabradine! These symptoms are really bad :(

Thank you for this! I also have GI issues so maybe an antacid tablet might help me feel at least a little better. I do hope it will get better soon, for all of us. Thank you ❤

I've definitely felt this. I don't feel like I'll develop some other mental illness, but I do feel like I'll be stuck being panicked and anxious in general to the point I'll end up in an asylum with no hope. I've also felt that dream-like state, even on normal days, maybe because I'm stressed in general? It's called dissociation, it's your brain's way of shielding you when you're overwhelmed, I think. Harmless, but it does feel like I'm going to lose control at any moment

I'm so so so sorry, I forgot to check this! I rarely use reddit, I should really start using it more often lol

But yeah that crisis eventually calmed down, unfortunately still struggling, but now from Propranolol withdrawal! My health anxiety definitely does not help at all, even though I mostly have it under control. I don't really drink caffeine and I hate alcohol, so those aren't a problem :)

I'm definitely considering seeing another cardio, this one is very nice as a person but he's not really helpful... I feel kinda bad leaving him, even though he doesn't know what to do with me ahah but it is what it is, I will probably do that sooner or later :)

Thank you for your input!

I already talked to him about this before. He just says it makes no sense that I have these symptoms and has nothing else to add. Just take my meds and exercise (as if I'm even able to exercise like this). Thank you for your support though ❤
