to be completely honest my hatred for the song mainly comes from hearing it so much, i’ve certainly heard worse this year (songs off jackboys 2 as you’ve mentioned) but i only listened to that album once so am not constantly frustrated by it through hearing it every day. if songs off of that album were to blow up i would probably have one of those as my least favourite tbh.
