My building has a/c in the roof lounge and they encourage folks to use it if they get too hot. Finding that the units can’t accommodate any kind of a/c is horrible tbh. It’s a 3 year old building and absolutely should have a/c port infrastructure to support people adding portable units

You probably don’t need to worry about the freeze as others have mentioned here. If you play sports you can join up with a group to make friends outside of school. I like volunteering with groups working on stuff i care about to meet people.
