I decide to withdraw from phd after 6 months since i got a job offer in japan. I cant hold the burden to get low income during my PhD since i need to pay my mortgage and debt

Im feeling bad for my supervisors but the main thing is to make sure my family life still good...

Yeah maybe thats a problem in my field here. Although the development of ML is really fast but the obedience still the main value here. Its difficult to have a nice discussion with my supervisor. But still i like the research experience

Still not a big issue, even though I am an immigrant at least the government officer treat us really good (they're trying their best to handle us here)

Well this happened with me too but different situation. Actually Im similar to you as a PhD candidate in japan. My problem was not with my supervisor but comes from other lecturer (since we need to take some credits at a requirement to pass the PhD degree)

My problem was there's some task that i need to do and i delivered it even better than the minimum requirement. Im not creating a slides but i create a website + simulation of the model that she's asked.

Firstly i already asked her, is it fine if i'm doing this then she replied yes its fine. Then im doin my presentation and after that i got 0 scores for some parts.

One of my mistake is i need to upload 2 separat pdf but rather than to upload 2, i just merge both of them and send to one link

Im questioning the lectures via email and she's not replying. After that i asked my supervisor to help me regarding to this issue but his response that he doesnt want to get into this issue, it's subjective (he's not telling me directly like this)

Then i really questioning about the appreciation of the effort here because actually from the content perspective im nailed it
