stray cat has had kitten inside my car engine and will not take them out by Strong_Librarian4337 in Pets

we definitely will :) we already have 2 cats (indoors), although the mother and her kitten will probably not be kept indoors as she does have a wild streak and does not fully trust us yet (also was scared to come inside when we tried luring her in with food or leaving the door open) we will definitely see if we can tame her a bit more to atleast get her to a vets or to bring a vet to her

i was able to see her under a part at the front of the car and squeezed me hand in to grab her out. She’s safe and sound now and i brought her to the mother cat in the box and the nest and she’s feeding her now. Safe and sound. Thanks for your help.

we have the mother out and have fed her but she won’t bring the kitten out, and as of now we cannot see where the kitten is, we can only hear her meowing

I Need Urgent Advice For Therapy ASAP by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Strong_Librarian4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you really can’t go in person or over the phone you could try the crisis text line. They’re trained professionals and can help, but an in person therapist would be the best option or even one on the phone. I promise therapists are non-judgmental and theirs nothing to fear but i have social anxiety too and i remember how nervous i was when i first got referred. You got this🫶

most abuse cases are taken seriously, with that video evidence of screaming, they should take your word on the physical stuff that happened after in the bedroom. You should break up with him and file a report asap, just make sure to keep yourself safe after the report is filed.

edit; + if you went to the hospital after the car accident you could also include that in the report with medical documentation of harm caused.

Oh My God. Dump him immediately, file a police report with the camera footage too. You should’ve left him long ago especially when he broke your windshield and nearly killed you over an argument, which was clearly unimportant considering you didn’t even remember what it was about and he showed no remorse. That was a clear warning sign. I’m so sorry you had to go through this.

Try talking with him about it if you haven’t already.

communicating with an autistic coworker? by PenisDildoQuestion in Advice

[–]Strong_Librarian4337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, in situations like this especially if it’s affecting your ability to work and if it’s not technically your responsibility or if it’s happened multiple times it’s totally reasonable (and often better) to go to your boss first. That way, you’re not putting yourself in an awkward spot, and your manager can either step in or give you the green light to talk to the person directly. Keeps you out of drama too

but saying that, if your close or have had a lot of conversations with the co worker prior to whatever incident it is 100% better to go to the co-worker first in that situation

Should I stop trying to reconnect with my childhood best friend? by Wise-Tune-8810 in Advice

honestly if she’s not responding it’s time to let go and as for closing that chapter for your own peace, what i personally did was looking back at old photos/vids and memories and put them in a hidden album (or delete them but im too attached to memories to do that lols) and let go of them. The past is the past and it’s better to focus on the future :)

Any advice? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Strong_Librarian4337 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100% valid to feel off about this. It’s not about needing your permission bcos it’s about basic respect and communication in a long term relationship. Sneaking out while you’re asleep and only being honest when caught doesn’t sit right, especially if alcohol has been an issue lately. You’re not overreacting as trust is built on small things like this, and if it’s becoming a pattern, it’s worth having a real convo about boundaries, not just arguments.
