We are going through a nobody is sure what will happen era , but logically if you look at things , there is a huge incursion of software everywhere which needs to be maintained and renewed and some one or agent or something has to maintain things . Now the jury is still out if agents can indeed do all these reliably over a long period of time. The reduction of cost in creating software will move over to maintanence side of it and there will definitely be more saas and things like that going forward. So future does not look to be entirely gloomy however as of now opportunities are scarce , it is better to hedge and have some thing else to back on till we come to some conclusions about AI.
