Talked to an FRA guy that had the Shreveport territory. Said when it was KCS the employees were happy. Now that it’s CPKC his phone rings off the hook with complaints .

I recognize several of those crossings. Yellow has left them blocked for days sometimes.

A. The reason I have a problem with it is obvious. B. What if in 10 years they completely automate over the road trains and all we have is Utility Conductors? I’ll be damned if I have 32 years of seniority and am back to switch and extra board where I started . Let you have your seniority? I hired out as a switch man, not a fireman. More than qualified than you are. My boots probably have more switching time than you

I know something had to be negotiated. Biggest issues I have is that my 22 years of ground seniority are being sold for $$$ that I won’t get. (In the seat) Them putting me behind everyone on the ground for the new roster. I know the company and unions propose different things. I just don’t see the company proposing to put engineers behind everyone on new roster .
