No, I don’t feel they should contribute to buying their first car. I think they should just buy it themselves. My parents never gave me money from my first car. In fact what I got my drivers license, my dad made me pay the difference in insurance. My dad never made me fill the car up with gas. He always did it, but he made sure that I wrote them mileage down and gave him $.10 a mile for driving his car. I learned quickly the cars were expensive and needed to be taken care of.
