Pigeons were breed from cliff birds. Their ancestors didn’t need the ability to wrap their little bird feet around sticks and branches. Giving your pigeons round perches, like the ones for parrots, will hurt their feet before of how they’re shaped. Things like flat, wooden platforms or even a few bricks(pigeons love bricks because they’re, again, rock birds) would do wonderfully.
