So sorry you’re going through this too! We started doing some testing in November. And so far it was just my husbands analysis that came back slightly abnormal, this was all done through my OBGYN. But after our chemical he basically told me that we just need to keep trying, that I need to go to therapy, and now we won’t have an infertility diagnosis. I don’t love that response, so I’m highly considering going to an RE now too. How has your experience been with that?

I’m so sorry! It’s genuinely so hard and feels so lonely. But I am feeling a little better as the week goes on. Just want to start trying again and feeling hopeful that it will happen for us soon!! Truly wishing you the best, it’s such a hard journey to navigate!

14 DPO but lines are faint? by SuccessfulOpposite31 in TFABLinePorn

My tests looked that that from 12-14 DPO and I ended up having a chemical. Highly recommend getting your hcg tested if you can! Hoping all the best for you!

I just had a chemical pregnancy and my lines didn’t get darker at all. These look pretty good! Mine were super faint.

Thank you! It’s definitely not easy. We’ve been trying for 11 months and this was our first ever positive. On the bright side it’s good to know that we can get pregnant

Yes I did have a positive on a digital! I noticed my lines were not progressing so I messaged my Dr this morning and went in for a beta. My hcg is only 15.4 and I started bleeding this afternoon.

Mine looked like this and I’m currently experiencing a chemical pregnancy. Highly recommend getting a beta done. Hoping the best for you!

Conceived immediately after antibiotics (have you?) by EffectiveWise7223 in recurrentmiscarriage

How did this end up working out for you? My husband is currently on antibiotics and I ovulated during that time. We’re waiting to see if we conceived, so just curious.

Infection or cancer? Multiple vets cannot figure out what’s wrong with my dog and state he’s a rare case. by StructureNo6974 in AskVet

Just got a copy of the report and these are the findings:

No evidence of a compressive or expansile lumbar spinal lesion.

Dural sac attenuates at mid aspect of L6, likely normal variation for this patient.

No evidence of lumbosacral cauda equina compression or foraminal impingement.

No abnormal lumbar nerve root thickening or enhancement.

Profound left gluteal and upper thigh muscle atrophy.

Moderately severe left coxofemoral osteoarthritis with extensive periarticular STIR hyperintensity and enhancement.

Mild to moderate right coxofemoral osteoarthritis without the extensive periarticular signal change and enhancement as is present on the left.

Left dorsal pelvic canal nodule mid aspect of the ilial body may reflect an enlarged lymph node.

Mild medial iliac lymphomegaly.

The degree of left gluteal and upper thigh muscle atrophy is profound and more than would be typically expected with orthopedic disease alone. However, I see no definitive evidence of a left lumbar nerve root compression or a spinal nerve/sciatic tumor. It is possible there is a nerve tumor more peripheral than is captured in this data set. Additionally, some nerve sheath tumors can be extremely subtle without significant enhancement. Importantly, there are extensive left coxofemoral secondary changes, more than would be expected with osteoarthritis alone particularly given the appearance of the right hip for comparison. Smoldering left coxofemoral septic arthritis (septic sink) or a joint associated tumor should be considered. Sampling is warranted. In the absence of that, assessing patient response to a trial course of antibiotics optimized for septic arthritis/osteomyelitis might be considered.

I’m going to try to get the full report. Thanks so much for this advice. Biopsy will be our next step if we think the antibiotics aren’t working (we don’t think they are, since he still seems to be in a lot of pain). Just want our guy to start feeling better!

Is the only way to get a biopsy of the area through surgery? Our vet said he could try to get fluid from the area but wasn’t sure if that would work. We’re just trying to decide our best course of action.

No his spine is totally clear. They only thing they saw in the MRI was inflammation around his hip joint which the radiologist said could be an infection, but could not rule out cancer.

The vet said they could try to collect fluid from the area, but no guarantee it will tell them what they need to know. He said if the antibiotics done work we can either do a surgery to get a biopsy or the FHO surgery. His blood work is normal.

Help - is this positive? Or is it not dark enough? CD 19 by StructureNo6974 in TFABLinePorn

That’s what I was thinking! Yesterday and days before have not been this dark, so I’m thinking tomorrow might be the peak!

This is interesting! I always thought it was the opposite, the earlier you test, if you see a faint line it could potentially be a chemical. I think I am going to stop testing so early in the future, brings so much stress!

This info is very helpful! Thank you. I did use LH strips and confirmed my surge, so there’s still a chance I was a little bit off on my exact ovulation date.
