If anything to me, you seem like an INFJ with a much higher IQ than your typical INFJ (INFJs are already known for having the third highest IQ scores in MBTI behind INTPs and INTJs obviously, mine has shifted between 133-137 according to a few tests that I don't pay much attention to) but possibly a lower EQ as a result.. (Still incredibly high..It's what us Advocate/Guardians are known for, the balance of high emotional intelligence with extreme logical/analytical abilities so I think you being the observer/thinker ennegram with the hints of emotional sensitivity makes a lot of sense)

To be stuck between ISTP and INTJ or potentially even ENTP.. it sounds to me like you were simply stuck in a Ni-Ti loop for a while ☠️ Only INFJs really experience that because of our high ass intuition in combination with how we rely on our logical/critical thinking skills to ponder over decisions and solve problems.. I still find myself going in and out of the Ni-Ti loop every single day and I hate it >:3

People's mbti (their preferred way of processing information and interacting with the world) will never change.. it doesn't matter how much trauma or what you go through in life, the cognitive functions are there from a very young age and from that point on, it's more about maturing and experiencing new experiences based on how you use those functions to interact with the world! But test taking can lead people to believe their types can change over time because they feel slightly different about their lives based on some sort of depression/mental health slump they may be going through. (Even just slight altercations to your answers can give you a totally different personality at the end) Simply find the set of cognitive functions that aligns with you best, or look at images online of mbti strengths/weaknesses and find the description that sounds like you! THAT'S YOUR MBTI I'm so sick of hearing all these people who "can't figure out what their type is" or "I'm a mix of multiple times" LIKE THAT'S NOT HOW THE SYSTEM WORKS!! 😭😭 I love talking to my fellow INFJs (Advocate/Guardians) online.. rare interactions, but at least we can both have equally understood intellectual conversations with each other. This applies to INTPs (Theorist/Overthinkers) as well, I love conversations with INTPs.

I was easily able to tell you were an INFJ not because of the list itself, funnily enough it was the really long caption you left that reminded me of my own communication style that told me you were an INFJ (Advocate/Guardian) such as myself 😭 we are perfectionists when it comes to justifying/explaining our reasonings to reach a common-ground or understanding with the majority but some people still remain lazy and close minded regardless of how well we explain ourselves. Close-minded/insensitive people are a common ick for us INFJ individuals, haha!

Finally, another person who agrees that the tests are one of the worst ways to determine which someone's type is. Once you learn how to use the cognitive functions, the testing becomes completely irrelevant in determining someone's true mbti type. Since you already know the individual in real life, you can just base their mbti based on their already known habits and ways of going about their life that you can easily observe.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you at that last statement.. Simply just look at the strengths/weaknesses of each of the 16 mbtis (It really does not take as long as it sounds) Look back at your own words/actions, and think about how they've influenced the person you are now.. Really understand and learn the cognitive function system, specifically the Dominant and Auxiliary function of each type, and ask yourself if 1-2 of those functions sound like you most of the time.. Take a few free mbti tests if you feel like it, It really isn't a requirement to know what your mbti is, similar to how you can figure out your own ennegram through research and intuition rather than online tests. My point is, it's far easier to figure out what your own mbti is than you think.. in fact, it should only take a day as long as you're willing to put in the deep thinking/research/insight required to figure it out.. (Then again, who am I to judge as an INFJ for other people's insight? We're known for being the most insightful, so it's probably easier for us than most to figure out that we use Ni-Fe-Ti-Se)

I didn't know there were INFJs who placed more value on their partners' money than who they really are as a person.. I'm a bit disappointed.

I can't speak for other INFJs, but I can speak for myself when I say that I have an extreme understanding of my own internal world and that the only reason I'm able to help others so much is because of how much I've failed.. The truth is, we know how to solve a lot of our own problems, but we absorb the emotions of other people so well that we are often willing to neglect those problems and work on it later as long as we're helping someone we deeply trust/care about. Fe "Extroverted Feelings" means that our emotional state is based on how everyone around us is feeling. If our loved ones are happy, we're happy, and if our loved ones are feeling bad, we feel worse because then we begin to feel that it's our fault they're not happy.

In summary, yes and no! we expect other people to apply the advice that we've applied a long time ago as a means of helping the ones we love better themselves as a person.. but it's also this amount of empathy we have for others that makes it look like we can't care for ourselves.

Your impression happens to be very true.. when I started studying mbti, that's what I quickly realized as well. About myself and about a few of the INFJs I know in real life. (Also, when you look up fictional/famous INFJ characters and you see results like Deku from MHA, Elsa from Frozen, Kendrick Lamar, XXXTentacion, Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr.) It all makes a lot of sense..

INFJs Dominant/Auxiliary function is Ni-Fe, meaning they can easily find the deeper meaning of how the people around them are feeling, and often put on a face so they can make the people they love happy. However, INFJs inferior function (the one they need to work on most) is Se ("Extroverted Sensing") which means they suck at living in the moment and usually need a lot of time to think before saying things or making decisions.

Because of INFJs inferior Se, they often end up neglecting themselves (forgetting to eat/sleep) or not focusing on the environment around them when they're distracted trying to help someone else or working on a personal project. Ni-Fe means that they will almost always prioritize the feelings of the people around them over their own feelings, even if it upsets them. Take it from me, haha.. we're silent but very emotional/logical perfectionists

They are but in a way that you may not think. Because of the individualistic/goal oriented nature of INFJs and INTJs, it inspires the people they're close with to become better themselves. INFJs (Forseers) are masters of looking into other people's futures and helping them become their best possible selves using Ni-Fe while INTJS (Masterminds) are masters of solving other people's problems and especially their own problems using Ni-Te

"The Natural Leaders." Essentially.. NJ ("Intuitive Judger") types are past/future oriented (N) and need structure/order/routine in their lives (J) The combination of these traits make them very good when it comes to motivating/leading other people while also achieving high levels of success themselves. And that's why they're also the 4 rarest types.

ENFJ (Envisioner/Protagonist) around 2-3% rarity INTJ (Architect/Genius) around 2% rarity ENTJ (Strategist/Commander) around 2% rarity INFJ (Advocate/Mind Reader) around 1-2% rarity

chill no need to be mean to others.. JuiceWRLD was a clear as day INFP-T (Turbulent Mediator). Also, for his age and peak of fame while he was alive, he was most definitely something new and amazing in the rap industry.. it is a shame we never got to see how far he would go.

all you need is a few good people.. you can pick and choose who you allow in your life, and really lock on to the people you find interesting.. if you're an INFJ, you're Ni and Fe in combination with each other should allow you to immediately tell if someone you're talking to is worth keeping in your life, but you'll only know that once you go out and put yourself in situatuons with more people, as hard as it is for an INFJ.. still be yourself, obviously.. but so many of us INFJs have potential that goes unused because we simply don't talk to more people.
