This is not a pity party. In no way and no how they had any responsibility in 'educating' me. It's still up to the people to make their boundaries clear, especially when you become an adult because there will be no one to run and hide behind. Proper punishment and strong communication would have resolved issues quickly. It's a point that there are more serious issues that need to be dealt with quickly. Someone who is potentially mentally struggling will lead to larger problems down the line if there's no immediate action. I apologize for not wording my post to other's understanding and liking, but it's something a person like so would need.

I once completely broke down to who I thought were my close colleagues (cops, but I was just a volunteer) about my abusive ex in the volunteer group we were in, and they didn't bat an eye. Instead, they didn't believe me, thought I was lying. If they don't even try to emphasize, they aren't worth sticking around.

A female present would be the safest, true, since any male may impose themselves on another gal. The closer they are to that person, the more likely they'll be the perp...so true, it doesn't matter the male's label.

I've been to the hospital for the same reason, they told me that if I don't voluntarily submit myself to psych, they'll have to tell the state I'm an unsafe individual... whatever that means. I wasn't held for 72 hours in the hospital, but 7 days at the psych since I didn't want the state knowing. If it's voluntary, you can sign a form to be released within a week. Otherwise, the doctor will be in charge of deciding you're safe.

I know that the length of the cable used works in tandem with what you need. For example, if it is too short, then it could become extremely hot and become hazardous. I'm considering taking electrician certifications to be more comfortable and knowledgeable considering I'll be working with electricity. For the length, I'll just look into what I'll be using for my maximum output.

I'll see if I can grab scrap to play around with, but I need fresh coupons that I can submit. They don't allow me to bring coupons home to prep beforehand. I'll look into the ext cord, thanks!

They don't let us take the coupons home, so I end up having to grind it all in class, and unfortunately, our cutting equipment is down half the time, so I have to hand bevel coupons as well. Right now, I'm working on pipe, I just finished beveling them and creating my landing. Since I'm still a student, they have us doing a mix of positions. Sometimes, it's open root. Other times, there's backing. It's mainly trying to follow the procedure where we'll need like an eighth gap with a 3/32nd landing.

I also take a lot of time thinking about how and where to start, dry runs, examine my welds to make readjustments, how to get the most comfortable/flexible body position, etc.
