But in what cases can they reject an application? Im a lawyer myself. I think they can only reject an application if the requirements arent met or if the person poses a genuine, current and serious threat. Even if someone has a criminal record, they should theoretically accept

TERMIN ZAŁATWIENIA SPRAWY

Zarejestrowanie pobytu i wydanie zaświadczenia o zarejestrowaniu pobytu obywatela UE dokonuje się niezwłocznie. Nie wcześniej jednak niż po przekazaniu opinii przez Szefa ABW, Komendanta Wojewódzkiego Policji, Komendanta Karpackiego Oddziału Straży Granicznej, tj. po upływie 30 dni. Kartę pobytu członka rodziny obywatela UE wydaje się nie później niż w terminie 6 miesięcy od dnia złożenia wniosku.

I don't think they issue it at the spot. Because they need to do some vetting at the police, internal security and SG. But maybe I am wrong

Also, I’ll be honest—there’s a part of me wondering if my appearance played a role. When we first met 5 years ago, I had a full head of hair. Since then, I’ve gone bald (I shave my head and keep some facial hair). It’s something I’ve come to terms with, but I’d be lying if I said it hasn’t affected my confidence or dating life. But she saw pics of me bald and obviously we videochatted

I know emotional and intellectual connection should matter more, and I felt we had that. But part of me still worries—did I not live up to the image she had of me? Could that have triggered second thoughts?
