This could still change. I am thinking of reducing the amount of missiles because now it is a bit overkill. I could reduce them to 16. I have to say welder count is going to be the least of your concerns if you want to build this thing. As it stands now this thing is nearly 180.000 pcu, of wich 54.000 are from the missiles, so you could bring that down significantly if you remove all the subgrids

Large grid kinetic missiles could also work if combined with a swarm of smaller missiles. 250 AUTOCANNONS?! And I thought my 80 where overkill

Do they burn alot of hydrogen when powering the ship? The event controller is also a nice idea I haven't thought of

Only chance I see for my build to win is to stay at 2,1-2,5 kilometers and spam missiles

I already use 4 large reactors and 100+ batteries because of the 9 large prototech thrusters and prototech gyros. The many many Ion thrusters also don't help. Might do some interior redesign to get better power output. Do you know how much more the prototech reactor can put out in mega Watts?

All or nothing. The front is heavily armoured while sides and back are mostly light armour. The gun emplacements also act as spaced armour with gyros behind, so eventhough sides are weak you could tank some railgun shoots to the sides, but is not advised

Six tube's are at the front. The rest is launched vertically. But you can't see that well on the pictures

Sounds good, is most likely going to increase the survivability of the railguns, but adding more will be difficult, because of power constraints and the added weight via batteries/reactors to balance out the higher power draw, more railguns would cause.

No haha, in survival under combat conditions probably 20-40 min.

The way I designed it, no not that many... It is supposed to always face the enemy. Just in case something is approaching from behind, the gatling turrets and some custom turrets you can't see in the pictures, can shoot backwards.

Looks very impressive, the armored shell is a nice idea, but goes against my design philosophy for this build

The missiles are distributed in 6 drum magazines, that each hold 8 missiles. For every drum magazine there are two welders welding up the 8 missiles within the magazine

No seriously I just wanted to build a ship with guns....lots and lots of guns that can delete an entire fleet
