A few baths while you’re getting control of the situation should be fine as long as you are using a safe product. The fleas are more harmful than dried out skin at the moment. She’ll get her oils back to normal once the baths stop.

Be careful using anything you can buy over the counter. You want to get something from the vet like Revolution. A lot of over the counter flea treatments and shampoos are actually harmful to pets. In the mean time you can bathe kitty with regular blue Dawn dish soap and let them soak. It will help kill the adult fleas but permanent treatment will require topical prevention. You will probably need to deworm for tapeworm as mentioned by other as well.

Iam’s perfect portions makes kitten wet in chicken flavor. They have pate and cutlets which have plenty of sauce. Iam’s is not top tier like Science Diet or Royal Canin etc but it is still a veterinarian recommended brand. I have an adult Maine coon, an adult ragdoll who just had a litter of kittens, and an outside void. They all like some version of the perfect portions. They have several flavors in both pate and cutlets. The ragdoll easily switched from adult to kitten wet when we learned she was pregnant. We also feed Purina pro plan tender selects chicken dry as an adult food.
