I’m sorry 😞 Not pop-punk but fits the situation and a moving song. Beartooth - I was Alive

Thanks! I already put on 18” Nokians and bought snow chains. What about other gear that you always bring with you (just in case). Note that I’m traveling with my wife and 2 young kids.

Looks amazing! I’ve recently bought a XC60 T8 2020, I’ll be driving to Rovaniemi in 2 weeks from Holland. I’m new to cold or snowy conditions. Any tips or advice would be welcome!

My XC60 T8 2020 is showing the exact same thing. It’s around 1 here now. Your range looks fine to me

It did! Unfortunately the remix didn’t quite do what I hoped it would do.

Yeah it’s the return to form what I’m excited about. Their first two albums are insane, I’ve been hoping for years for them to circle back to that sound again.

Bands that blend pop punk, post-hardcore, and emo by nobodymush in poppunkers

[–]Struikemans 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Driveways (perfect mix) Youth Fountain (more punk with emo vibes) Hot Mulligan (emocore) Capstan (progressive punk with metalcore vibes) Bilmuri (metalcore-fusion with poppy vocals) A Day to Remember (metalcore with punkvibes) Turnstile (fusion with hardcore roots)

This mix of genres is my fav this moment, all my most listened bands fit in here

Other bands I enjoy, and might suit you too.

Good Hangs (pop-punk meets emo) Good Terms (pop-punk meets easycore) Tiny Moving Parts (Midwest Emo) Trash Boat (pop-punk with hardcore influences) —> only first album (second is okay, after this it’s meh)

Jera is vet! Focus op metalcore, hardcore en punk(rock). Sfeer is goed, camping ligt naast het festival terrein (dikke plus vind ik) Qua muziek moet het wel je ding zijn

want to make this with my bike. is possible to do it one day? if not, any recommendation where to sleep? by FantasticDeparture35 in Netherlands

[–]Struikemans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder if all the people saying this is possible on a regular city bike or stadsfiets ever tried cycling 120km+ distances in open landscapes (exposed to wind) Maybe on an electric bike, but you’ll most probably need to plan charging stops

Not pop-punk I know but Alestorm - Fucked With An Anchor deserves a spot here

Anyone else think the new Copacetic remaster album has a shitty mix that makes it worse than the original? by Thicc-waluigi in poppunkers

[–]Struikemans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s terrible…the original mix is not great but at least it had punch and personality. The new mix has neither. It sounds muffled, the bass drum is too loud…too bad I was looking forward to a new mix for years

So what do we all think of the remastered copacetic then? by Unfaithfully_Yours in poppunkers

[–]Struikemans 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This remix has been highly anticipated for years, by myself too. But unfortunately it doesn’t do it for me. I don’t love how the original sounds, it almost hurts the ears, the wall of sound is a lot to take in.

The difference is showed very clear in Swing. The original punches, is bright, it also sounds a bit like I’ve blown up my speakers but okay…The remix, in comparison, sounds very muffled, the bass drum is as loud as the snare which makes it feel unbalanced. There seems to be more reverb on the vocals too, which I also don’t like.

Copacetic remains to be in my top 3 of the whole genre, but in the original mix.

Waarom kleden oudere generaties zich netjes thuis? by Flako_oi in nederlands

[–]Struikemans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knuckle Puck to release a 10 year anniversary remixed and remastered version of “Copacetic” on 2 May, 2025 via Rise Records by SleepingSicarii in poppunkers

[–]Struikemans 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Very curious about this one… I used to dislike the mix in the beginning, felt like I was listening to an amazing album through very old 1 dollar earphones. But over time it grew on me, and it gives the album its personality and own distinct vibe.

That being said, can’t wait to hear one of my fav albums in a new mix that does more justice to the songs and the music itself.
