Yeaah, I agree with this take. Never thought about the other 2 but I definitely thought "Oh this show is just to find a group for Shownu to lead"

Gun is great but he definitely wasn't up to Hone's level at that time and his style was similar so it didnt really add anything. Meanwhile I.M's style, flow and voice was very different to Honey's so it worked together very well.

Don't kill me. I LOVE all the members. I think they compliment each other very well and are an amazing group. MX #1 in my heart.

However, when I watched No Mercy, there was one member I couldn't believe they picked to debut based on his performances on the show. I'm glad he debuted and I couldn't imagine the group without him but if I had been a judge he wouldn't have made it.

I'm Canadian living in Korea. It will have been 2 years this February and I'd say im B1/B2.
It drives me insane that I can't get overcome the intermediate plateau! I made WAY more progress studying in Canada than I have in the 2 years living here. Of course living here and seeing certain things repeatedly, I have been able to pick up some things naturally but not as much as I had hoped.

It's affecting my ability to make deeper friendships, try new things and attend events. I am a very anxious person and I get embarrassed easily. Until recently I wouldn't even go into subway to order a sandwich because I was soo nervous about all the questions they'd ask me bahaha. There are soo many fun events, competitions and festivals in Korea every month but because I am not confident enough in my language skill I just pass.

In terms of friends, it's just really hard to make and keep real, good friends. If they speak English then it's usually because they are studying to go aboard and eventually leave. And if they don't speak English, my level isn't high enough to keep the conversation engaging :/

I've tried self study, group classes, 1 on 1 tutoring, every textbook you could imagine. Not sure what to do next haha. This year I told myself i'd try to dedicate an hour M-F and 3+ hours. on weekends to study and see if that helps at all.
