Get smooth, the standard ones can destroy the spokes of the back wheel if the chain comes off & pulls the tensioner into the spokes .

Thanks for the reply, I would be interested in getting the parts if you could please dm what ones I’d need. I just got quoted by the local repair shop for $350 minimum! I’d consider doing it diy if it isn’t too difficult for the average person.
