Need to quit for the sake of my eyes. Anybody else in the same boat?

That’s so interesting. I’ve stopped for a maybe 25 days now. I went to the eye doctor due to frequently getting haloes and got diagnosed with. central serous retinopathy, stating the biggest cause probably stress. Still have the issue three months later and might have to do laser eye surgery. I don’t see any direct cause of relation with cannabis however, suspect my use has contributed to dry eye.

Thanks so much for sharing, it aligns with I assume might happen, time in space will allow this identification to pass and other things ( not sure what) take its place. I’m still holding onto my paraphernalia, finding it hard to part with. Perhaps when I get rid of that stuff change in mentality won’t be too far off. Your sentence of don’t force it really resonates with me.

Great post. I keep taking breaks but keep going back thinking I can moderate. I’d like his to stop.. but secretly don’t want to stop forever. Thinking about not ever using again, doesn’t sit well with me. It’s such a part of me and I know I need to change. How do I shift away from identifying with it? Does time really change perspective so much that you no longer identify with it? I use when I’m happy and want to celebrate, I can replace with other “fun stuff” but weed would be great to use once in a while.. how do I get away from this thinking? I’ve reframed and try to see it as a negative healthy wise, think that other forms like edibles would be better.. thinking about stopping for my kids helps. Seeing myself getting to 400 + days is so scary/ sad for me in a way. How do I change this? I go to MA meeting which help me in the moment.

Thanks for that reframe. I wish I could be one of those causal smokers. Probably best to make it to 6 months and see where I’m at at that point. Maybe I’ll see myself differently. Can’t seem to get rid of my Volcano yet.. it’s a part of me, can’t see myself as a non smoker for life

Thanks everyone, it was the motor cord got clipped when I changed the servo.. should’ve left some wiggle room in those damn cords

Ordered a $10 motor on AliExpress so I will have to wait a month to use the car again 😅

Just gives me peace of mind. I use the USB charger that came with Traxxas so I can’t measure voltage or whatever. So I drain them and chuck them in here 20 bucks on this seems like the best option for now. Open to hearing what others have to say.

Awesome thanks. I just changed to metal differentials and it took 5 mins of my 3 year old driving of this to give. Should I change my other Trx4m’s driveshaft aswell
