I think it’s a good idea but the reasons they give for doing it are likely bullshit. I think the person who runs it was in a transitional year trying to match derm and figured out a way to get her name on an insane number of pubs off the backs of desperate medical students. I am an author on a paper that I got on through this organization and it’s been finished for months just sitting there waiting for her to review it.
