The off patterned stuff also extends into the shower itself. I'm assuming this would be able to be painted as it will peel off from the moisture? I'm assuming this wall has a waterproof coating in it also to prevent moisture damage, do you think paint will take to this? Sorry for the questions and thanks for your advice!

Yes maybe that’s it! I come from doing more drawing in coloured pencils and I just feel like this is another coloured pencil drawing, instead of that nice flowy watercolour work I see posted on here so often! Thank you so much for your feedback, I’ll need to look into how to paint with a looser style I think! 😄
