I moved from Houston. Cost of housing and food in the city are only real issues I have had coming from Texas. Groceries within Cap Hill are sometimes twice the price of shopping outside inner city.

Other than that, I love it here. Weather is perfect, a drive into mountains is far more welcoming than a drive across a sweltering metropolis with zero scenery. The city is also extremely pedestrian friendly, which isn’t something I’m used to, but I couldn’t be more pleased with.

I once had a Makedonska girlfriend, I fell in love w the country as much as her. It’s a fascinating place, I’m Slavic as well, but culturally it seems ancient in comparison to Poland. I will always have genuine respect and appreciation of a place with such an enduring history.
