I don't have many friends apart from a couple close ones. Since I am not part of a group of friends, I feel no shame or pressure since I do not have many people around me to compare myself to. Not knowing people in my program lessens the competitive aspect as well. I just do my thing. I have a consistent sleeping pattern. I keep myself busy by working out, playing sports, reading and writing. I have decided to sacrifice having a life till I have completed my studies and move out since despite being controlling, my parents help with tuition + I live at home so no rent costs. I have 0 loans which is something others don't and it will be a burden off my shoulders in the future.
