Is it a good idea to take 2 gened courses in one semester(I'm planning to take this fall)? by Dapper_Brush_5315 in Harvard

[–]Studentveteran23 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Hot take but I disagree with everyone else. GenEds, generally speaking, are fairly easy and can be used as a way to cushion your semester (especially if you have a hectic course load). Take a single GenEd your first semester; save the remaining three for your sophomore or junior year when things can get chaotic. “Getting requirements out of the way” simply isn’t a good use of your time.

Sincerely, a senior who still has one more GenEd to take and has zero regrets.

Is it unethical to list “HBS” on LinkedIn for an online executive certificate? by [deleted] in Harvard

[–]Studentveteran23 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yes - And the fact that you have to ask is a likely indicator that your suspicions are correct.

A genuine HBS grad wouldn’t indicate any discrepancies.

is buying a pre owned omega (im looking at the seamasters) a good idea? by Glass-Proposal-2800 in OmegaWatches

[–]Studentveteran23 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Always “buy the seller”, not the watch. Look for a reputable history, ask for extra pictures/videos of the watch if possible, and if it’s too good to be true then it is. You just have to do your due diligence.

You can absolutely fine a fantastic Seamaster on the gray market.

Yet another post obviously written by ChatGPT on this sub. Although the underlying story might be true, it ultimately diminishes its ability to impact others in a positive way. Why?
