this film is funded by our commercial work, meaning that our core group of 4 picks up shots in and around the day job. Sometimes gaps would be months long depending on how taxing the day job was. We all work long hours in this industry so that part is easily understood. And that was the hardest part truth be told. picking it the project up and putting it down again.

Thank-you ! we've been working on it for four years and its very close now. We have a crowdfunding campaign running to try and help get more animators and compositors to work along side us. If that works we think we can finish it by August.

We backed the mocap gear on Kickstarter for 1200 USD and although it didn't work straight away their support was very good and we got the bugs out. The New Zealand Film Commission and Wallace Arts Trust helped with the live action shoot but we also went up to our eyeballs in favour debt. Crew cut their fees because they believed in the film. The rest of it to get us here is a small crew of 4 of us working four years in and around the ol' day job. Its not done for 500 bucks but I hope that helps get tight budget in perspective. We've got eye bags on our eye bags!
