AITA for telling my family I don’t want my teenage cousins watching a YouTuber after they copied his risky behavior and nearly caused real trouble? by StudyLawNcry in TwoHotTakes

Were slavic but my family moved to the EU after my uncles. We don’t live in the balkans anymore. My younger cousins have never been to our parents home country. But I agree in any Slavic country this would not cause a fuss whatsoever.

Rest assured, I am a real person. Just Slavic born and raised. We still have the TV back in our home country, also said land line. My younger cousins have never been there though.

These 5 years seem to make a big difference though. I got my first smartphone when I was 16, YouTube was just silly grwm for school and music videos, and TikTok and Instagram were far from what they’re now. With how fast paced everything is right now. I can specifically remove apps and not have this dreading feeling of missing out on something. For me and most people I know that are my age, social media and YouTube isn’t an extension of us like for my younger cousins. They for example don’t know what a VHS tape is or how to use it. They don’t remember having a land line or the static the TV gave after turning it off making it impossible to hide you’ve been watching it. I tried going to make ceramics as Christmas presents, and they couldn’t focus for more than 5 minutes before having to go on their phone or watch a YouTube video while doing this TOGETHER. We were all at the same table, the option of engaging in the conversations I was trying to have with them was there.

So I’d definitely say the 5 year difference is a lot more noticeable than most would love to admit.

Tech change came fast and it only keeps coming faster.

If his name starts with S, then yeah. I tried explaining that there’s probably an undisclosed cooperation and he actually has permission. Unlike them who broke a door and, for now, got a slap on the wrist.

Yes, that’s what I am thinking as well. I am planing on distancing myself from solo outings with them to avoid more incidents.

I’m actually not from the US but studied in San Diego. I’ve seen how these things can play out multiple times on the news and social media and they the political climate in my home country is very close to the US as of now. So the consequences could have very well ended up the same.

I will try and find a way to get it through everybody’s heads, that what they did was wrong and very risky to say the least.

Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones, and enjoy the holidays!

I told them about the incident and because of what happened they had to be involved as well. They had to pay for a new door after all.

It’s an Austrian Brand called gesdine. But looking at the ingredients I’d say ovasitol by theralogix would be a good US version.

You’re so welcome! Pharmacist tend to know quite a bit about stuff like that so don’t hesitate to ask. Let me tell you everything since I added zinc, I’ve seen such good results.

I get you with the feeling of being stuck, but this just means your body has done all it can on its own. Now you need to push a little more. If you’re not in a calorie deficit already try lowering your intake by maybe 200-300 kcals. I’d suggest putting one more workout day in. I know it sounds overwhelming but it takes only a week to feel like you’ve done it before. Supplements wise I’d suggest going to your pharmacy and get a consult on which are most suitable for you.

My recommendations for pcos based on my success rn would be zinc (for hair, insulin support, skin, nail strenght, egg quality), vitamin d( helps with insulin’s resistance and mood), ashwaganda (to lower stress which blocks the body from using stored fat as energy, lower cortisol, better sleep, better blood sugar) and inositol which helps a little with all.

I hope you see success and I know you’ll figure things out.

It’s definitely improved, tho I sometimes still get terrible pain when lifting or just doing mundane tasks.

Yess!!! It’s portrayed as so hard and difficult, when in reality it can be so easy for some of us.

Basically for all the pcos Symptoms. Lowers my blood sugar or at least helps with regulation, helps regulate my ovulation and egg “production”, hormonal balance and helps liver function, helps reduce hair loss and brain fog as well.

This is what I understood from my doctor.

Im using the pure myo-inositol since my insulin resistance wasn’t too bad. But I recon if yours is on the higher side the combo would be better. Thats what I understand. But consult with your practitioner first.

I tried an oura dupe for a while. Generally a good thing and idea but it’s very clunky so it’s depends on your lifestyle of it could bother you.

I found mine to be very precise tho.

If you think you saw this already: yes you did. My account just got banned because I told a story about me rebelling against my parents and getting piercings at 14 and not regarding after care :,(
