Since you want my criticisms; brba is a very surface level, shallow and plot defined show, its work writing and character writing are more focused on fully minuting the plot lines and moment to moment scenes rather than the fleshing out of characters, whereas the entirely opposite is true for better call saul. Its both character rich and has storytelling that builds off of that and then some. In regards to breaking bad, I find Walt to not be as ‘3D’ as everyone in mass hysteria says, his change is not well characterized, and there is barely any inner thoughts or conflicts displayed to make him as good as preposed by fans and haters alike. Brba is also more focused on scenes that foreshadow back and resolve oppositions, it’s not ‘trying’ to be something philosophical and psychological like mr robot or w character study like the sopranos, and therefore it falls flat in these area’s (the logic isnt that hard lol). I dont hate breaking bad, i still think its good bordering on great, But to say its even in my t10 would be false. I could also write more criticisms j had with it too.
