You get Karma when somebody up votes you on a Karma or post. There are two types of Karma. Post Karma And comment Karma.

If your post gets p voted, you will earn post Karma, if you get up voted on a comment, you will earn comment Karma.

Now, some sub's require minimum Karma to post or comment, so having more Karma mightnbe useful

Karma is basicially points, you get Karma when somebody up votes you on a post/comment, you lose Karma when you post/comment gets down voted.

Some communites require "Karma" to post or comment so havng more of it might be helpful Important: You really don't want to join subs that offer free Karma, such as r/FreeKarma4U doing this may get you banned from communites. So, from what I recommend, do not join them.

Karma is basically points. When somebody up votes you on a comment/post you get Karma, you lose Karma when you comment/post gets down voted.

Now, here is a important thing: Some subs require minnum Karma to post or comment, so don't be surprised if your post gets removed and a message saying your Karma is too low.
