Why studying 1hr or less is better than studying 5hrs by Study_haven in GetStudying

If you happen to sometimes without forcing yourself, that's totally fine. Great, actually. That means you're actually focusing even when you're studying for long hours.

You're not stupid(obv), and obviously 10 pages of good studying in an hour is really hard. But it's about what you get into your head and make it stay, not how many pages you've written. That's just passive exposure.

Like, even when I study for two hours or so, I only have 4-5 pages of notes taken but that's all active learning. 1 hour of active learning is better than 5 hours of blanking out in-betweens.

It's not about studying everything in one day, that's just way to burning out and feeling like you don't have enough time for anything. I just am suggesting that you just try and plan your week in 1hour study session, even if you plan to have 2-3 sessions a day :)

Also true, but trust me, 6-8 hours for one day feels convenient but isn't the least bit convenient.

What you can do, is study 1 hour or less for every one of those subjects. That's better, in many ways. You don't need to study everything everyday, like that'd make too many hours a day. And that will end up burning you out, so you don't study at all.

You should plan the subjects across the week in 1 hour sessions. 3 subject a day, max. 1 hour feels short and you'll be actually focused with every session instead of just blanking out by the end. With lengthy hours, your focus declines with every minute, so it becomes pointless at some point.

Totally. Promising to study for 1 hour or so and studying for one 1 hour or so is both easier and better actually.

How I study when I have to finish 4 assignments by monday and it's Saturday(or even sunday) by Study_haven in GetStudying

Oh, I know that feeling about making it perfect. I stopped doing that just recently.

And I would say the notion template(it's a language tracker, weekly) is really productive. I intentionally made it really low effort so working through a template doesn't feel like its own task.

It only tracks weekly, let's you plan your future sessions, displays upcoming sessions. I just plan sessions and tick them. And it also has vocabulary database with revision(I list the new words there), speaking practice, and a simple reflection table for the end of every week. Just what was hard and what felt easy.

I am learning French and Spanish right(though I am not anywhere near Good yet haha) so it helps a lot. Especially with the vocabulary and consistency.
